Why do free radicals in the human body cause aging? Because the free radical is very active, it can play the role of a strong oxidant, causing lipid peroxidation in human body, resulting in the destruction of human cell structure and function, inducing the increase of senile pigment, and the appearance of “senile plaque” on the face and hands. The experimental study found that tea polyphenols in tea can be very effective in scavenging free radicals, about 70% ~ 95% of the amount.
